Two men were arrested yesterday after police raided a cannabis factory in Waddon.

At the property in Claydon Drive the officers found more than 50 cannabis plants growing inside along with fans and heaters associated with the production of cannabis.

They also seized £3,000 in cash.

Officers arrested a 23-year-old man and a 61-year-old man, both on suspicion of production of cannabis.

The men have been bailed to return to a south London police station in late September, pending further enquiries.

Anyone with information about drugs can contact their police team by calling 101 or, to remain anonymous, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
