A 49-year-old from Coulsdon has died after being hit by a train.
Emergency services were called to Earlswood station in Surrey just after 2pm yesterday but could not save the man.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his family have been informed.
The incident is being treated as non-suspicious and British Transport Police officers are preparing a file for the coroner.
