Croydon police station
Police are hunting for thieves who snatched a cash-box from a Tesco Express security guard.
The cash-in-transit robbery took place at 12:35pm on Friday, August 1, at a store on Lower Addiscombe Road, Croydon.
After grabbing the cash-box the suspects made off on a moped.
Police believe the container was opened in nearby Grant Road, and it has since been recovered by police.
No arrests have been made and the Met’s Flying Squad is investigating.
