Altruistic daredevils are needed for a charity free-fall abseil down the side of the 55m, 16-storey Carolyn House in East Croydon.

The event on September 19 will raise money for Croydon Commitment, which backs a wide range of charitable projects in the area, including anti-knife crime campaigns and domestic and mental health projects.

To enter budding abseilers are asked to raise an £125 minimum charity sponsorship in addition to the £20 registration fee.

If you think you can take up the challenge, email info@croydoncommitment.org.uk or call 020 8774 3680 to register.
