A 14-year-old boy from Croydon who was arrested at Reading Festival on suspicion of rape has been bailed.

The teenager and a 31-year-old man from London were detained after a 19-year-old woman reported an attack on the festival traders' site on Thursday night.

She had earlier met a man and a boy near an ice-cream van opposite a mobile phone charging point on one of the campsites.

The arrested pair have been freed on police bail until October 6 while Thames Valley Police continues its enquiries.

Queens of the Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys and Blink-182 headlined the festival, which finished on Sunday night.
