Firefighters were called to a series of bin fires in New Addington in the middle of the night.
A bin was set alight in Foxcoombe and a bin shed at The Lindens just after 2am this morning.
Police are believed to be investigating the fires.
Firefighter and crew manager Tony Sullivan, from West Addington's green watch, said: “It took us about 20 minutes to put out. We had one [a fire] last week around the same estate at two in the morning as well.
“Bin fires are dangerous. We are urging people to be careful and report accumulated rubbish as soon as possible.”
