Kingston Royals youngster Dylan Conway was in dreamland after setting five new club records at the weekend.

Conway set new bests in the U14s 200m backstroke, 50m breaststroke, 200m breaststroke, 200m butterfly and 200m individual medley in Kingston’s sprint distance club championships at the Xcel leisure centre on Sunday.

Twenty-two athletes set 42 new club best times, with Kathryn Carmichael (U9 50m backstroke, 200m backstroke, 50m butterfly and 200m individual medley), and Yasmine Hammerlaine (U11 50m back stroke, 50m freestyle, 50m butterfly and 100m individual medley) claiming four records each.

Ellis Alexopoulos (U14 50m, 100m and 200m backstroke) set three new records and Finn Harman claimed new bests in the U16 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle, 50m backstroke and 50m butterfly events.
