The founder of Glastonbury Festival met potential headliners of the future on a visit to talent factory the Brit School.
Michael Eavis swapped Worthy Farm for Selhurst to speak to performance arts students and a tour of classrooms and studios to celebrate winning an award affiliated to the secondary school.
The 78-year-old will be presented with the 23rd Music Industry Trusts Award on November 3 at a gala dinner to raise money for the Brit Trust, which runs the school, and Nordoff Robbins, a charity that provides music therapy.
The grandee of British music festivals founded Glastonbury Festival in 1970.
Many of the Brit School's star-studded alumni, including Katy B, the Feeling, King Krule and Imogen Heap, have played Glastonbury in the past.
