A newsagent in New Addington was robbed at knifepoint as staff arrived for work.
Two robbers, one carrying a knife, demanded the keys to the safe at Martin McColl store in Headley Drive before fleeing with cash.
They approached two employees who were taking bundles of newspapers into the shop at 4.30am on Monday.
Both robbers were black men in their mid-to-late twenties and one was wearing luminous yellow gloves.
