A man raised £1,450 for charity after cycling 310 miles in less than 24 hours.
Nick Boxall-Hunt, a customer engagement specialist from Wandsworth, rode from Finsbury Park to Newcastle with his friend, Henry Erdozain, in aid of Action for A-T, which works to find a cure for Ataxia-Telangiectasia.
He said: “The bike ride was a massive physical and mental challenge but a fantastic experience and we are so pleased and grateful to have raised so much money.
"To do this in support of Action for A-T, a charity that is close to both our hearts, also means a lot as it is a relatively unknown disease and charity."
Donations to Action for A-T can be made on Nick and Henry’s just giving page justgiving.com/smoketotoon. For more information on the disease visit www.actionforat.org.
