The blue badge and permit crackdown continued after Sutton Council enforcement officers secured another conviction, marking the eighth successful prosecution of the campaign.
Councillor Jill Whitehead, chairman of Sutton Council’s environment and neighbourhood committee, said: "Misusing parking permits and blue badges is not a trivial matter.
"People who disregard the rules of visitor permits and blue badge ownership are cheating the majority of road users who respect others when parking their cars.
"The council’s parking team has really clamped down on this type of fraud and rightly so, it’s a crime that undermines a necessary system set up to help some of our most at risk people."
Katarzyna Mazur of Collingwood Road was fined £195 after being found guilty of parking permit fraud at Croydon Magistrates Court on September 30.
She was fined £75 and ordered to pay costs of £100 along with a £20 victim surcharge.
There are two more cases remaining in the latest tranche where the defendants pleaded not guilty. Their trials will be heard in February 2015.
