Robotics and 3D printing will be on show at an open day for a new academy.
Interactive activities will give prospective students a first taste of life at STEM Academy, a specialist science, technology, engineering and maths sixth-form school set to open at the former South Norwood police station in September.
Adrian Miller, the academy's principal, will be among speakers at the open evening at Fairfield Halls from 6pm on Thursday.
He said: "Whether they want to go on to study at university or go directly into the workplace, we are committed to offering them a tailored education that allows them to fulfil their potential.
"We welcome anyone with an interest in STEM to attend the open day and hear, not just from me about the opportunities at STEM Academy, but also directly from employers on how they are looking to support our future students."
The academy is being run by the STEM Academy Trust, which founded its first school in east London last year.
