Thirteen people have been charged with drug dealing after police stormed houses across Croydon in synchronised early-morning raids last week.

Five teenagers are among those accused of involvement in a major heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis market in West Croydon.

They were arrested on Wednesday as around 150 officers from Croydon station, the Metropolitan Police's Trident gangs unit and the City of London police swooped across Croydon and south London.

Three other people were arrested, including a 37-year-old man taken to hospital with a leg injury following the raids. He was discharged and is in police custody.

A 14-year-old boy and a 33-year-old man arrested on suspicion of drug offences have been bailed until January.
