Two suspected jewel thieves who lead police on a dramatic chase through Sutton and Croydon, will appear in court at the end of the month.
Richard Macdonald from Braintree in Essex is accused of burglary after allegedly trying to steal jewellery from a house in Plough Lane, Wallington.
The 24-year-old has also been charged with driving without a licence, driving dangerously, not having insurance, and failing to stop after an accident.
He is also accused of failing to give his name and address.
Eugene Lee, 23, from The Chase in Rush Green, Romford, will face a single burglary charge.
All of the allegations relate to a suspected break-in on Tuesday, January 13, which involved four men and saw police officers split into two pursuits through Sutton and along the A23 through Croydon.
Police made arrests near Hooley.
