Police are hunting a burglar who repeatedly broke into the home of an 80-year-old woman with dementia.
Detectives today released CCTV footage showing a suspect, believed to be a woman, rooting around the house in Coe Avenue, South Norwood.
The family of the victim, who also has Parkinson's disease, installed the secret camera in the last few weeks after cash and ornaments went missing.
Detective Constable Sheree Yates, of Croydon police, said: "Understandably, the victim and her family are extremely upset and distressed about the ordeal.
"We are hopeful that somebody in the area might have seen something that could help us in our enquiries, or someone may recognise the person on the CCTV footage."
Anyone with information can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
