A pedestrian has been seriously injured in a collision with a lorry in Purley.
The man, thought to be aged in his 80s, was struck in Purley Way, near Purley Cross, at about 12.30pm.
He suffered seriously arm injuries, which a Metropolitan Police spokesman said were not thought to be life-threatening.
Paramedics took the man to hospital.
Police cordoned off Purley Way southbound carriages at the site of the collision, causing congestion between Pampisford Road and Purley Road.
Bus routes 127, 289, 405, 434 and 455 were affected.
