Jewellery and a car have been stolen from a home in Warlingham.

Police were called to Farleigh Road following the offence which occurred between 7.15am and 9.30pm on Thursday, March 5.

Jewellery, pictured, was taken as well as an Audi A5, found the following day in a car park behind flats at the junction of St Augustines Avenue and Vauxhall Gardens in South Croydon.

Investigating Officer Detective Constable Simon Evans, said: "I would appeal to anyone who knows the whereabouts of the stolen items to share this information with us as it may be key to finding those responsible.

"I would also ask anyone who witnessed the car being parked in South Croydon to contact us with details as this is vital information.

"The victim in this burglary should be praised for heeding advice and taking photographs of their valuables and I hope their actions will mean we can reunite them with their stolen property."
