Surrey Police have released terrifying footage showing a New Malden man driving more than a mile down a busy dual carriageway with another man on the bonnet of his car.

Grzegorz Musial clipped the wing mirror of an office worker's car in a car park in Camberley, Surrey, in October last year.

When the victim insisted he was going to call the police, Musial used his blue Ford Focus to run the office worker over and carry him on the bonnet of his car for more than a mile down the 60mph A331.

The victim was eventually thrown from the car and sustained a broken ankle and nose, but avoided being hit by other traffic.

The incident was captured by a camera attached to a passing lorry.

Musial, of West Barnes Lane, drove off after his victim had been flung from the car but called police later that evening fearing he had hurt someone.

Musial was jailed for 14 months and banned from driving for 18 months at Guildford Crown Court after admitting causing GBH, driving without insurance, dangerous driving, and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
