Letter to the Editor: Why do binmen leave so much mess behind them?
I have been meaning to write for some time regarding the mess left behind by the binmen – something along the lines of “thanks for the rubbish collection, but could you now send out the road sweepers to pick up the mess left behind by the binmen”.
I know my closest neighbours hover by the front door waiting for the binmen to go so that we can launch a cleanup what with that and the recycling – but that is for another letter.
How much more of the council’s work would they like us to undertake?
