Four 14-year-olds have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a double stabbing in Crystal Palace.

Police were called to Crystal Palace Park around 6.30pm on Sunday (March 22) to reports of two men suffering from stab wounds.

Two men aged 42 and 38 were taken to a south London hospital by the London Ambulance Service.

The 42-year-old has been discharged, but the 38-year-old remains in hospital in a stable condition.

His injuries are not classed as life threatening.

MORE TOP STORIES Four male youths, all aged 15, were initially arrested in connection with the stabbing but have been eliminated from enquiries.

They were bailed for other offences.

One 16-year-old male was released without charge.

The four 14-year-olds, two male and two female, have been bailed until mid-may.

So far nine youths have been arrested in connection with the stabbing.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the attack to come forward.

Detective Constable Samantha Thomas, from Bromley Police’s CID, said "We are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen anything to contact us."
