(AMENDMENT NO.2) ORDER 2007.
THE CROYDON (WEST) (PARKING PLACES) (NO.1)
ORDER 1993 (AMENDMENT NO.1) TRAFFIC ORDER 2007
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on the 26 March 2007 made the above mentioned Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders would be to extend the Croydon (West) Controlled Parking Sub-Zone introducing waiting restrictions between 9am and 5pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive in conjunction with 8 hour 'pay and display/shared use' parking bays in Courtney Road and Waddon Road. The waiting restrictions would also be introduced in Godson Road, for 10 metres from its junction with Courtney Road. Charges for parking in the bays will vary from 50p for 30 minutes to £4.20 for 8 hours (maximum).
3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 2 April 2007, of the Croydon (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Traffic Order 2005 (and of any Order which has previously amended that Order) can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made at the Enquiry Counter, "One Stop" Facility, Taberner House, Park Lane, Croydon, Surrey.
4. Copies of the Orders may be obtained from Parking Services, Environmental, Cultural and Sports Services Department, Ist Floor, Davis House, Robert Street, Croydon, CR0 1QQ.
5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
