Croydon Schools' Football Association's borough sides reached two prestige finals in matches played at Croydon arena last week.

The U12s won 4-1 against Barking & Dagenham Schools in the London Cup semi-final.

Recalled goalkeeper Dominic Bishop (Royal Russell) saved a penalty on the stroke of half-time and Conor Wilkinson (Coulsdon) netted a hat-trick.

Substitute Kane Grandison (Woodcote) came on five minutes before the end and left the field in the last minute with a suspected fractured arm.

The U14s reached the Eagles final, after a well-earned 3-1 win over neighbours Bromley.

Riddlesdown High School Purley qualified for the national finals of the English Schools' Football Association's indoor 5-a-side championships by winning all their six matches at the David Beckham Centre, Greenwich on Friday.

Tonight (Wednesday) the U16s hope to round off their career with Croydon Schools by winning the Surrey Schools' Football Association's Cyril Black Trophy at Croydon Arena, kick-off at 7.30pm.

Croydon are 3-1 up from the first leg.
