The fight for Croydon North will move to London Road as the Croydon Guardian host an electoral debate between the people hoping to represent the constituency at Westminster.

Confirmed protagonists include Labour’s Steve Reed, UKIP representative Winston McKenzie, Conservative Vidhi Mohan, Green Party candidate Shasha Khan, Trade Union and Socialist Coalition member Glen Hart and Liberal Democrat Joanna Corbin.

Organised by the Croydon Guardian at the request of residents in the area, the debate is open to the public, and will be split into three sections, focusing on jobs and the economy, housing and the environment, and the NHS.

Damian Luke, apostolic leader at Praise House, London Road, has generously allowed the use of the building for the night, and those attending will be guided to the first floor meeting room from 7pm on Wednesday April 29, for a 7.30pm start.

Guests are advised the event will be seated on a first come first served basis, so people may have to be turned away if capacity is reached.
