A 56-year-old man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after an Orpington grandmother was killed last year.
Olive Stevens, of Allard Close, was knocked over by a car in Skeet Hill Lane in Chelsfield on November 7.
Paramedics rushed the 88-year-old to King’s College Hospital but she later died from a serious head injury.
On Tuesday (May 12), Orlando Greenidge, of Erica Gardens, Croydon, was charged with causing death by dangerous driving, causing death by driving a vehicle while unlicensed and causing death by driving a vehicle while uninsured.
He was bailed to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on May 19.
Greenidge was also summonsed to attend the same court on May 19 in respect of driving not in accordance of a licence and driving a vehicle while uninsured.
