An army recruitment sergeant accused of raping and sexually assaulting cadets is facing a retrial after jurors could not decide on a verdict.
Edwin Mee, of Tavistock Road, Croydon, will appear at Southwark Crown Court on October 5 charged with rape and sexual assault.
The retrial comes after jurors in his first trial spent 30 hours deliberating but were discharged after failing to agree.
During this three week trial, which started on April 8, jurors heard the crimes allegedly happened at the Mitcham Barracks army careers and information office (ACIO) in Mitcham Road, Croydon.
