An armed robber has stolen thousands of pounds from the HSBC bank in the high street in New Malden after threatening the cashiers with a gun.
The black man walked into the bank alone at 11.35am and demanded money.
As soon as the cashiers handed him the cash he ran off.
Police officers from Kingston's Flying Squad are still carrying out door-to-door enquiries. Anyone with any information should contact police on 020 8247 7932.
