A 14-year-old girl and a 42-year-old man have been arrested by police following the robbery of two Croydon pensioners.
The pair were detained by security staff from the Croydon Village Outlet department store at about midday yesterday in George Street.
They were taken to a south London police station, where they remain in custody on suspicion of robbing a 89-year-old man and an 83-year-old woman in July.
Both victims were robbed of cash in Croydon town centre in seperate incidents.
Croydon detectives are continuing to investigate.
