Detectives are hunting two elderly men after £1000 in cash was taken from a parked truck.

CCTV footage from the vehicle's camera shows two elderly men approach with bolt cutters and pliers moments after the driver left to carry out a delivery.

One of the men can be seen using a pair of pliers to try to unlock the driver's door, as the other man, dressed in a high-vis jacket, looks on.

After failing to break in through the door, the first man can be seen walking around the vehicle and successfully breaking in through the passenger door.

The second man then climbed into the vehicle and used the bolt croppers he had hidden in a shopping bag to release a cash box containing more than £1,000.

Police are appealing for any information from the public about the incident that took place on London Road, Croydon, on June 17.
