TV presenter Stephen Mulhern will be providing the showbiz sparkle at Croydon Christmas lights switch-on this year.
The entertainer, who fronts ITV's Catchphrase and Britain's Got More Talent, will push the button to kick off the festive season on Thursday, November 12.
Mulhern will star in the Fairfield Halls pantomime, Cinderella, alongside Lisa Davina Phillip and Joanna Saywer this winter.
Croydon BID has promised a day of free family entertainment in North End before the lights switch-on.
The event will start at noon and climax with a "spectacular rooftop pyrotechnics" display.

Chief executive Matthew Sims said: "Our Christmas lights switch-on has become one of the 'must see' events in Croydon’s annual events calendar, and thanks to the generous sponsorship of Gatwick Airport, we fully anticipate that this year’s programme will be extra special.
"This is the ninth consecutive year in which the town centre has benefited from Christmas lights funded by the BID and this year we’ve got a brand new, low-energy lighting scheme that will bring some extra sparkle to our main streets throughout the entire festive season."
Last year's lights were switched on by singer Gareth Gates.
