Two men try to rob bank security guards of cash being delivered to Croydon bank
Two men tried to rob bank security guards of the cash they were delivering to Santander in Croydon.
Two G4S security guards were unloading the cash outside Santander, in George Street, when they were approached by two men at about 11pm last night.
The pair tried to grab the cash, but the guards managed to barricade themselves in the bank before the suspects ran away.
Nothing was taken, and there were no injuries or weapons involved, the Metropolitan Police said.
The Flying Squad is investigating.
