Bonfire Night is upon as and there will be fireworks lighting up the skies throughout the week.

Thursday, November 5

Crystal Palace Park, from 6pm
This year marks a whopping 150 years of organised public fireworks at Crystal Palace and contains two shows – a children’s display at 7pm and the main show to music at 8.30pm. Tickets cost £6 adults, £4 children and £17.80 in advance or £10/£5/£25 on the gate and is free for infants under three. Limited parking costs £5 per car.

Chipstead and Hooley Bonfire Association, Chipstead Meads
Bonfire lit at 7.30pm, followed by firework display at approximately 8pm Other attractions include a small fairground and food including a hog roast. Car parking is available at Chipstead Football Club.
Admission is £6 for adults, £3 for under-14 £3 and free for under-fives. Surplus funds are donated to the Blonde McIndoe Foundation at East Grinstead and the Queen Elizabeth Foundation in Banstead.

Friday, November 6

Park Hill Schools' Association fireworks
Park Hill Junior School Playing Field, Stanhope Road, Croydon
Gates open at 6.15pm and the display starts at 7.30pm
Features fireworks set to music, hot food, an array of glow toys and mulled wine. All profits go directly to Park Hill Infant School and Park Hill Junior School. Tickets £7 each or free for children under-three.

Friends of Marden Lodge School fireworks
Marden Lodge School, Croydon Road, Caterham
Gates open at 6pm, fireworks from 7pm
Features fireworks, bonfire, face-painting, fun fair, stalls and beer tent.
Tickets: £4.50 adults, £3 under-16s, free for children under three.


Saturday, November 7

Caterham Fireworks, Dene Field
Caterham and District Round Table’s event starts with a torch-lit parade which leaves Westway Library at 6.30pm so arrive early to buy a torch. The bonfire is lit at 7.15pm with the display after. 
There’s also a Build a Guy competition with a £50 prize (entries must be delivered to the field by 1pm) se food, drinks and fairground attractions. Entry costs £5 and under fives go free. Go to caterhamroundtable.co.uk

Beckenham Round Table Fireworks and Funfair, Croydon Road Recreation Ground
The funfair operates from 6pm, with the display at around 8pm. Entry prices have yet to be fixed but under fives go free. Click here for more details.

Sunday, November 8

Ridgeway Primary School, Southcote Road, South Croydon
Gates open at 5pm with fireworks starting at 6pm. Drinks, food, glow sticks and mulled wine will be sold. 
Tickets are £5 per person and £4 per child.
