The Canbury Arms

The Canbury Arms occupies a corner site just off the London Road in Kingston, close to the town centre and railway station. It is at the hub of a popular residential area nestling between Richmond Park and the River Thames.

The Canbury Arms was bought by Michael Pearson in March 2005 and immediately closed for a complete refurbishment designed to recreate as many of the original features as possible. The large garden area had been sadly neglected over the years. This was completely cleared and paved.

A heated retractable awning to seat a further 70 customers in all weathers was built to transform it into a popular dining and drinking area.
