A teenager has been arrested after video of a four-way brawl outside West Croydon KFC went viral.

The footage, which has been viewed more than 100,000 times on social media, shows stunned shoppers watching as two men and two women grapple with each other in the doorway of the restaurant in London Road at about 1pm on Monday, October 19.

At one point, one of the women involved can be heard screaming: "Why are you dragging my hair?" Later, someone can be heard saying: "Are you dissing my mum?"

Eventually, a man intervened and managed to break up the fight.

Today officers announced they had since arrested a 17-year-old in connection with the fight. He has been bailed until January.

Three others - a boy, 15, and two girls aged 18 and 19 - have been interviewed under caution by police.

Police are now asking members of the public who saw the fight to come forward and help with the investigation.

Detective Constable Stephen Hall said: "On the day of the fight, we received a number of calls from members of the public and we were able to follow a number of leads.

"We would like to ask anyone who was near KFC on London Road, at the time of the altercation, to contact us.

"We would like to speak to as many witnesses as possible as this will help with our investigation."
