Croydon police are clearly protecting their teeth this festive season and have opted for an advent calendar with a twist.
Instead of enjoying a daily dose of chocolate, they will release an image of a wanted criminal or suspect every day until Christmas.
Police hope their "badvent calendar" (their pun, not ours - promise) will lead to offenders spending the new year behind bars.
Detective sergeant Jonathan Kent, who leads Croydon’s wanted offenders unit, said: “We’re responsible for finding and arresting people who have either been recalled to prison or those who haven’t turned up at court to face the charges against them, or to avoid being sentenced.
"What we need from the public in these cases is any information as to where they might be or where they are staying. I’d urge anyone with information on the whereabouts of any of these people to get in touch."
Anyone with information can Croydon detectives on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
