Frederick Blake, 54, of Norbury, was arrested in Carshalton after police officers in an unmarked car found him cruising Wrythe Lane, "checking out houses", Sutton police said this morning.
The "nervous and hesitant" Blake was carrying 10 white rocks of drugs and £400 cash in his car during the July arrest.
Officers went to his home in Norbury Crescent and found cocaine with a street value of £20,000 along with a working Enfield revolver and £38,500 cash hidden under his bedroom floor.
Blake admitted gun and CS gas possession, cocaine possession with intent to supply, and having cash obtained through crime.
He was jailed for 10 years at Croydon Crown Court last Wednesday, December 9.
