AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
LLOYD PARK CAR-PARK, CROYDON
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF CAR-PARK
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the construction of a new car-park and pavillion they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily close the Lloyd Park Car-Park, Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall use the Lloyd Park car-park situated directly north-east of the access road opposite No.84(a) Coombe Road, Croydon.
3. On the 30 August 2007 a new temporary car-park will be designated immediately adjacent and to the north of the tennis courts, Lloyd Park.
4. The access road to the free car-park and the conditions of use within the car-park will remain unchanged;
(i) passenger vehicles (with 8 seats or less) may be left in the parking places provided;
(ii) all vehicles left in the parking places must display a valid ticket, for which no payment is required, from a ticket machine located in the car-parking area;
(iii) to provide that the parking place will be in operation 24 hours a day;
(iv) with the exception of disabled drivers to restrict to 3 hours any one period of waiting in the parking place and to prohibit the return to the same parking place of the same vehicle for a period of 1 hour.
5. The Order will come into operation on the 28 May 2007 and will remain in force until the completion of the works.
