SECTION 14 AS AMENDED BY SECTION 4(7) OF SCHEDULE 5
TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1985
AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
ADDISCOMBE COURT ROAD, BISENDEN ROAD, BLAKE ROAD,
COLSON ROAD AND LEBANON ROAD CROYDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the replacement of old water mains they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Addiscombe Court Road, Bisenden Road, Blake Road, Colson Road and Lebanon Road, Croydon
2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in:
(a) Addiscombe Court Road at its junction with Addiscombe Road;
(b) Bisenden Road at its junction with Addiscombe Road;
(c) Blake Road at its junction with Addiscombe Road;
(d) Colson Road at its junction with Addiscombe Road;
(e) Lebanon Road at its junction with Addiscombe Road.
3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be Cedar Road, Lebanon Road, Leslie Park Road, Lower Addiscombe Road and Canning Road.
4. The Order will come into operation on the 11 June 2007 and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out in 18 months.
(Pedestrian access will be unaffected. Vehicular access will be maintained to all properties in the affected roads.)
