NPL Teddington fell just a wicket short of victory against Tring Park - despite being down to effectively two fit bowlers.
NPL set an imposing total of 262-5 from 51 overs with Chris Churchman blasting 155 not out. Support came from Shoaib Laghari (27) and Hugh Thomas (21 not out).
With Chris Binney straining his groin and Shoaib Laghari injuring his shoulder ligaments, NPL were down to bare bones. Steve May took four wickets and Ian Broady three as each bowled 16 overs.
But a draw means NPL go into Saturday's match at league leaders Thatcham Town in third place.
NPL Teddington II successfully defender a total of 149 against Barnes, Richard Royce hitting 55.
Graeme Anderson (4-10), Mark Woollatt (3-22) and Gary Salter (2-6) bowled NPL to victory.
The thirds went down to a heavy defeat against Henley despite Tim Sullivan taking his second successive six-wicket haul.
