The location of Good Shoes' not so secret homecoming gig on Bank Holiday Monday has been leaked.

The Indie band will perform for free at Morden Park bandstand - which features in their video for the single Morden - on May 28 at 2pm.

The ode to their home town paints a bleak picture of Morden, referring to racism, drug dealing and suicide.

The band, formed by lead singer Rhys Jones and guitarist Steve Leach, saw their first single, Small Town Girl, released in 2005.

More recently The Good Shoes topped the NME chart with Never Meant to Hurt You, knocking Maximo Park's Our Velocity off the top spot.

Although Rhys and Steve started life as a two-piece band they were later joined by former Raynes Park High School pupil, Joel Cox on bass guitar and Rhys' brother Tom Jones on drums.

The band, signed to Indie label Brille Records, put together the album after travelling to Sweden.
