Prepare for an evening of intrigue, mystery and…laughs, as whodunit spoof Secondary Cause of Death comes to the stage in Croydon.

Peter Gordon’s play, the sequel to Murdered to Death and the second in his Inspector Pratt trilogy, is at Fairfield Halls from February 24 to 27.

The Bill’s David Callister stars as Inspector Pratt, who arrives with grim news for Colonel Craddock, but that is just the beginning as the body count begins to soar.

The cast includes Croydon actress Judy Buxton, whose father used to be a steward at Fairfield Halls. She is married to Jeffrey Holland, famous for Hi De Hi, who plays Colonel Craddock. A regular Fairfield panto director, David Janson, also stars.

Tickets cost £20.50 or £16.50 concessions. Go to Fairfield.co.uk or call 020 8688 9291.
