Loved up couples in south London may have to re-think any Valentine's Day plans that may have involved a magical stroll in the previously predicted snow this weekend.

The cold snap of weather which has returned to the country will continue, but weather reports now show the weekend is more likely to have bouts of showers.

Today should remain mostly dry, with a bit of sunshine clearing the morning clouds.

But by Saturday the chance of rain is more than 50 per cent in the morning and becoming 100 per cent likely in the afternoon.

This weather is predicted to continue into Sunday.
