A 21-year-old who was killed after he was hit by a car in Purley has been named by police.
George Beresford, from Purley, was hit by a BMW on Ingleboro Drive on February 7.
Police were called to reports of a crash between a car and a pedestrian at about 1.27am.
He was taken to a south London hospital but died on February 10.
A police spokesman said the driver of the BMW was arrested at the scene and has been bailed to a date in June.
An inquest into the crash has been opened and adjourned.
