A man has been arrested on suspicion of inciting racial hatred after taking to Twitter to say he "confronted" a Muslim woman over the Brussels terror attacks.
A 46-year-old man was arrested at an address in Croydon this evening, according to the Metropolitan Police.
He has been taken to a south London police station.

Earlier today Croydon man Matthew Doyle faced a barrage of ridicule on social media for tweeting: “I confronted a Muslim women yesterday in Croydon. I asked her to explain Brussels. She said “Nothing to do with me”. A mealy mouthed reply.”
The tweet was later deleted.
