Children can come face-to-face with nature at a springtime safari and nature walk in Twickenham this May Day bank holiday.
A free mapped out ‘safari’ around the grounds of Orleans House Gallery’s grounds will allow children to meet creatures such as hedgehogs and view insects and flowers through a microscope.
Organised by South West London Environment Network and Orleans House Gallery, the event from 1pm to 4pm on Sunday, May 1, includes arts and crafts and the chance for children to create artworks inspired by the gallery’s Tweet Tweet exhibition.
