A man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm after a serious stabbing in Caterham.
Liam Chambers, 20, of Church Hill, has also been charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon following the attack in the Croydon Road area at about 8.20pm on Sunday.
The victim, a man in his 40s, remains in hospital after suffering “significant injuries” in the attack, police said.

Mr Chambers is due to appear at Guildford Crown Court on June 2 for a preliminary hearing.
Three men in their late teens were also arrested in connection with the attack. They have been bailed until June 9 pending further enquiries.
