Detectives investigating the mysterious death of a South Norwood man have offered a £20,000 reward for information.

Leon Ulett, 28, was found unresponsive in the street in Mount Ephraim Road, Streatham Hill, on April 1 last year.

He was taken to a south London hospital, where he died the following day.

A post-mortem examination found the cause of death to be a cardiac arrest, but murder squad detectives have described the circumstances as "suspicious".

Announcing the £20,000 reward for information today, Detective Inspector Domenica Catinos said: "We want to build up a full picture of Leon's movements leading up to his death and would like to hear from anyone who saw or spoke to him that day.

"Leon's family has been left devastated and they deserve to know as much as possible about how Leon was taken away from them.”

Mr Ullet's family have been supported by specially trained family liaison officers since his death.

DI Catinos added: "I would urge anyone who can assist with this enquiry to come forward; it is never too late to do the right thing and call police.

"All information will be treated in the strictest confidence."

Anyone with information is asked to contact murder detectives at the incident room on 020 8721 4622. To remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
