The trial of two teenagers accused of murdering a South Norwood man is set to begin today.
Darnell Martin, of Sylvan Hill, Upper Norwood, and Joshua Asante, of Atlee Close, Thornton Heath, are alleged to have stabbed to death 21-year-old David Darko in January.
The pair, both 19, will appear at the Old Bailey this morning.
Supermarket worker Mr Darko, of Canal Walk, was found suffering stab wounds in South Norwood Recreation Ground on January 23.
Paramedics tried to revive him but he was pronounced dead in the park.
The former Archbishop Lanfranc School student had recently celebrated his 21st birthday.
