A baby is fighting for life after a car crashed with a lorry in South Croydon.
The child suffered life-threatening injuries and a man and a woman were also taken to hospital in a serious condition following the collision in Coombe Lane yesterday afternoon.
Police shut the road for several hours following the crash, at the junction with Ballards Way, at about 12.30pm.
A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said a man, a woman and a baby who had been travelling in the car were taken to hospital.

The force could initially not provide ages for any of those injured or confirm if the child was a girl or a boy.
The spokeswoman added: "The man and woman were taken to hospital in a serious condition. The baby's condition was described as life-threatening."
Detectives from the Met's road and transport unit are investigating.
Police told drivers to avoid Coombe Lane and Gravel Hill yesterday. Officers put in place a cordon and diverted traffic along Oaks Road.
