A Croydon dad has been arrested on suspicion of child neglect after going missing with his two young sons.
Police yesterday appealed for help find 54-year-old Fazal Hossenbux and his twin six-year-olds, who had not been seen since he collected them from their nursery in Thornton Heath on Tuesday.
He was arrested this morning when police in Cheltenham stopped his car with the two boys, Farden and Farhan, inside.
A spokeswoman for Gloucestershire police said: "A 54-year-old man from Croydon, London has been arrested on suspicion of child neglect and is currently in police custody.
"The arrest happened after a vehicle was stopped in Cheltenham at around 9.15am today. Two children were also present who are safe and well."
The Metropolitan Police confirmed Mr Hossenbux and his two sons had been found.
