A man is due to appear in court tomorrow accused of making a hoax bomb threat in West Croydon.
Kugathas Navratnam, 52, is charged with communicating false information in London Road on November 18 last year.
Mr Navratnam, who lives in London Road, is alleged to have spoken to a police operator and given "information which you knew or believed to be false with the intention of inducing in that person or any other person a false belief that a bomb was present in London Road".
He will appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
